8 artists. 15 VFX shots and 5 weeks later we brought Rocco to life . A full CG character that challenged us in many ways. What we found most important was the deep color texturing of the fur to create a realistic behaviour with the lighting and movement of Rocco. We created a complex natural pattern of indiviual hairs that helped to get more realism in the fur. We used Yeti for grooming and choosed Arnold as the renderer.
